Instructor recommendations?

Hi, all--I live in the East Bay, and am hoping to get back into dressage after five years away(five years too many). I am not familiar with Bay Area dressage teachers--any recommendations? At this point, I just hope to find somewhere to begin the process of getting my seat back--owning a horse or competing is way down on my list of priorities. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Well, I don't know any instructors, but wait with bated breath to hear if there are any, I'm not necessarily needing dressage, but just basic English. Haven't ridden regularly in about 15 years and would dearly love to get back in it.

Hi. I work at Meadowbrook Farms in Nicasio (Marin) for an FEI level Dressage Instructor, Marion Shippey. I highly recommend her as an instructor. She is kind and keeps you and the horses' best interest at heart. Write to me if you'd like more information!

Way out of your area .....but down here (Palm Springs area).. our trainer is FANTASTIC! I will ask and see if she knows of someone up your way. She is leaving for Germany for testing and more schooling and then will be doing seminars all over the country. When I get info. I will let you know! She has turned my daughter and horse into a fantastic team.....it's great to have someone that just KNOWS what the horse is thinking....AMAZING!!!
